Rio Rosales PTA

The Rio Rosales PTA is a non-profit organization which raises money to support a variety of programs that benefit our students and staff. By working together, we can help provide our students with a quality education and a positive and safe environment.

The PTA is a group that relies on teacher and community collaboration to provide resources and opportunities for the children in our school.
Our Rosales PTA works very hard to provide teachers and children with field trips, books, guest speakers, assemblies etc.

Membership

We encourage EVERYONE to become a PTA member. IT’S EASY — just pick up an application at the school office!

Without your attendance and support, without officers (we still need a secretary!) we will have a hard time raising and distributing these funds to support our community of teachers and learners.

Benefits from the PTA

Here are some quotes from Rosales teachers about how their students have benefitted from PTA support:

  • Extra experiences outside of the classroom! (field trips, guest speakers, assemblies)
  • Access to a lot of good distance learning curriculum from Teachers Pay Teachers! Thank You
  • Kids can get Rio Rosales sweatshirts and feel part of our community.
  • Experience enriching/hands-on field trips and to have access to materials in the classroom that support their curiosities and make learning enjoyable.
  • Field trips.
  • The Rio Rosales PTA has made it possible for all kindergarten students to attend our annual field trip to Underwood Family Farms. We attend the farm after learning about plants and animals. The kindergarten science standards are directly related to what we see and do on the farm.
  • Provide supplies they need for a 21st-century education and a fun and friendly place to learn. I use my PTA funds to purchase books, games, and tools for my whole class, and materials each year for individual students. Thank you PTA!
  • Engaging and educational experiences outside of the classroom such as field trips and assemblies
